See Spot Run

I'm really a day behind in posting a post.

It takes me a whole day just to compose an entry.

I'm still at the SEE- SPOT- RUN- level.  SEE REYNA TRY TO TYPE.  SEE SPOT TYPE BETTER THAN REYNA.  SEE SYBIL (see Jan 31 post) COME OUT TO PLAY WITH SPOT.  SEE SPOT RUN.  RUN SPOT RUN!

If you haven't caught on yet, I'm very computer illiterate.

All I knew when I started was that my computers' name is Dell.  And that's only because he's wearing a name tag up front.  I still don't know his last name and I wonder if he'll ever share what's inside of him with me.  I mean, we share intimate learning experiences, we spend a lot of time together, we communicate all the time, at  least I do, (sometimes he just shuts down...) and he stays at my house!  Don't you think all that counts for something?

I know, I have been known to be a Ctrl freak.

(I just had to do that.)

So I'll just keep typing away and posting when I can!

Who is Reyna??

O.k., I'll fess up.

I am not Reyna.  Well, I sort of am, on this blog anyway.

Those who personally know me are confused because they have never heard that name associated with me.  It really threw my mom for a loop.   She wondered whose child she'd raised all those years.  As for you others, have you forgotten about my multiple personalities?  (That includes you too mom.)

I also am not a Mexican goddess,
Or a song,
Or a queen,
Or a counselor (although I like to tell people how their lives would best be run if I was in their bodies.)
I found these definitions while on one of my cyber walks under 'names for a child'.  Don't ask me where.  40 years is a long time to remember such detail. (See Jan 29 post)

        REYNA

Isn't it a beautiful name though?  (I like it better than Sybil)
Especially when you roll the rrrrr's like 6 month old babies so easily do.  O.K., maybe it isn't 6 months.  Please don't start testing your babies, or sending You Tube videos, or tell me that your baby did it at birth.  And as for you parents who don't have any recollection of what I'm talking about, you are not a bad parent.  Yes you are, no I'm not!

So for now Reyna it is!

Latest Gadgets

"Think left and think right and think low and think high.  Oh, the thinks you can think up if  only you try!"~Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!

Today I learned about a couple of new, boy-made, hand-held gadgets.

One is the Oldenator.
It makes you get older and taller.  What a combination!  That's like Benjamin Button in Manute Bol's body.

The other is the Fatenator.  I was surprised.  It isn't really like what it sounds.  When it hits you it makes you stronger.  But it doesn't work on girls-unless you really like them. (I'd be suspicious of a guy that wants a girl to be stronger than he is...)

FYI- If the Fatenator hits something that's not alive, it makes it fat.

Is that what happened here?

IT'S A BLOG!!!

Oh my gosh!

It's finally here!

I have searched for someone, anyone, a surrogate, DUMMIES, a talking gecko, a three-year old, anything to help me create a blog, and after what feels like a lot of wandering aimlessly in cyber-wilderness it is here!

IT'S A BLOG!

40 years in the making...  well, at least in my mind.  That's how much older I feel anyway.

I know, it's so simple that even a caveman can do it but I couldn't find one of those either.

Anyway, welcome to the journey of my UNEXPECTED LIFE!
Here are some of the things
               I didn't expect:
1.    To be divorced
2.    To have 4 boys and only 1 girl
3.    To be a single parent
4.    To have an empty nest and still be alive and sane enough (sort of) to tell about it
5.    To have experienced so much heartache
              - I didn't expect:
6.    To be able to shave both legs on the same day
7.    To not like peace and quiet because it's too quiet and peaceful
8.    To talk to animals-even when there's none around
9.    To be blogging
10.  To be here and alive today
               I didn't expect:
11.  To meet my father after 40 years
12.  To have the heartbreak of a 17 year old as a mature adult
13.  To have so many wonderful friends
14.  To learn I could forgive, sometimes many times over (70 x 7 to the tenth power)
15.  To age sort of disgracefully (some parts) (many parts)
              I didn't expect:
16.  To feel loved and valued even though I am alone
17.  To  be picking up warm dog do-do
18.  To be so content and at peace (most days)
19.  To be able to share my life, and hope that maybe for someone, it'll make a difference
        AND I didn't expect
20.  To be SO blessed and to love who I am and who I am becoming!
